Me 8th slash 9th grade (literally) in long black hooded fur coat, yin yang earrings & school uniform headed to Imani early in the mourning. It was a charter school that swore we werent a Muslim school...but my advisor was an ex panther and we wrote letters in English class to free the political prisoners including the shakur fam. It was an amazing school w a dope high stepping team that danced to the best booty house n ghetto tech. Was also kewl cuz I got to meet African warriors from the Masai tribe during my attendance there as well. Took these sort of things to keep me interested in school....otherwise, I couldnt stand it.
