Me: Why is that cat screaming? Tiny Dancer (7): His owners are scaring him with a stuffed animal. TD was watching funny cat videos on YouTube and, indeed, the poor kitty was backed into a corner, yowling and hissing, with a terrified look on his face. TD: This isnt very funny. I dont like it. Its not funny at all. Me: Theyre torturing that animal. TD: The kitty doesnt know its a toy. He thinks its a predator. They only posted this to get people to laugh, but I dont think its a funny joke. Why would someone laugh at a poor, scared little kitty? She switched to a different video. Then, a few minutes later: TD: Dad? People make money when kids like me watch their videos, right? Me: Yes. They can make money on YouTube from the ads you watch. TD: Then, Im not watching their videos any more. I dont want them to get paid for being mean.
