It is unpaid. The Eighth Man is seeking a Web Designer to assist in the rebranding of the website. You will be working with the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Tech Director and Graphic Designer to re-design eighthman in its entirety. Key Responsibilities Design, create and deliver a responsive WordPress website design. Working with the aforementioned to understand their requirements and deliver on their expectations. If you would like to make this position permanent, maintenance of the website will also become a key responsibility. Qualifications: Experience with Wordpress is a must. Highly creative individual with a skill for website design, keeping usability at the forefront of your design process. Proven track record of project delivery and an excellent portfolio of work. Passionate about user experience. Above average knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator). Experience with web development including HTML and CSS.
