Me and Aiden got in sooooo much trouble a couple of hours ago. I picked my Daughter-in-law up at work and took her home then went to Wally World where I got Aiden some more chocolate covered banana chips and a 10 pack of Yahoo chocolate milk boxes. Took all I could do to keep a straight face when I got home and my baby boy, Aidens dad, had a fit and would not let him have any of it because it was midnight and Aiden was still up wired on sugar. TOOK ALL I COULD DO TO NOT REMIND HIM OF A FEW INCIDENTS WHERE HE DID THE SAME. LOL. Instead I had pity on them and talked Aiden into bringing his toy cars to my room to play and watch Thomas and Friends cartoons on Netflix on my PC. He was playing with his hot wheels on the floor quietly when I found that Netflix had his all time favorite cartoon character TOW MATER from the Cars movie. It was an hour long series of cartoons called Towmaters Tall Tails. When it came on Aiden went into hyper drive making all the noises and squealing at the top of his lungs while glued to the computer screen as I encouraged him to dance and clap and burn off all that sugar rush for the next hour. About 1:00AM Aiden got so loud that he woke up Jaxon who joined in the noise fest for about a quarter hour when the cartoon ended. Cindy was then able to get Jaxon back to sleep and Desi got Aiden in bed sobbing because the cartoon ended. Giving my kids a dose of what they gave me 20 years ago may just become my favorite retirement past time. Paw Paw and the Great grandsons are going to rock this place (EVIL GRIN)
