Me and Chris Fordwoh dont normally do this sort of stuff on Facebook BUT in th is instance it seems apt………After 27 years of being inseparable and with his chemo nearly finished and his stem cell op looming we have decided it really is time to get hitched. (My Mum thought that it may be a teeny tiny bit overdue but in our defence we always seemed to have better things to do). Originally we were planning on a big party and inviting you all, but, after a meeting with our Oncology and Pallative Care Consultants they have said NO, NO, NO, and made it very clear that they think Chris being around a lot of people at the moment is a terrible idea. DOH! After all the dramas we have had this past few months we still want to get married so we have booked a quickie wedding on Monday. We are then planning on hitting the Westgate Gloucester who have very kindly organised a bit of entertainment and a few drinks for us afterwards. If any of you are around and fancy a sneaky quick drink we will see you at The Westgate around 6pm for a cocktail OR we will celebrating properly with a big party after the op in the autumn. We really hope everyone understands and that we havent offended, insulted, ignored or upset any of you. We are very sad we cant have you with us but we both hope you will all understand our predicament and will come along to party on down and celebrate with us both later in the year? Oh and many thanks to John Russell for the tune!
