Me and Lisa were harvesting Oca today, when we came upon this beauty, I saw the Buddha and Lisa saw a Christmas tree ;). We have about 30 lbs of Oca, a little salad mix, braising greens and plenty of dried heirloom beans, tomatoes and hot peppers, garlic, potatoes and winter squash. At one point during harvesting Oca, my sciatic pain got too much, and I just laid down in the mud, Lisa was cracking up, it felt so good ;). Northwest Organic Farms will have Carrots, Italian Kale, Red Beets. Hope to see you at Peoples Food Co-op farmers market from 2pm till 7pm.
