Me and the wife went down to the canyon for a couple of hours this evening and had a blast, but we saw a couple of things wed never seen out there before. As we were driving in, we saw a Bighorn just off of the road walking down CCC, and then we were about 100 yds from the trailhead to GSL and saw a BIG pig. I was ripping along when I came around a turn and he was standing in the middle of the trail maybe 30 ft from me. I stopped and we stared at each other for a couple of seconds. When the wife came skidding up, he kind of trotted off, but stopped in the deep grass about 10 ft from the trail. Ill bet he weighed 150 lbs and had good sized tusks. Definitely got the blood pumping!
