Me in Sairam Engg College.... First Day... 20th Induction Day. Parents were invited... Entered the college... My water bottle broke and all the water drenched me. Near the temple my shoe... pinju pochu... A great blasting start...... We students were taken into a building, where we were given our dog collars(ids).... Then directed by our seniors( i suppose )to our Classrooms. Mine was EEE-B. The class was half empty but fast filling. I immediately went to the last bench of middle row and sat there alone like a boss.... Then a 30-35 yr old man came in bringing some books. He looked like a asst prof. Without any kinda intro, gave a paper and asked us to fill it. Then he collected that paper. Then came some late comers. One was from kumbakonam and sat next to me. Other one was from Chettinad and sat next to me. I was at the centre. Then that 35yr old man welcomed us with a small welcome like speech of a 3-4 words and immediately said the 3 prime rules of the College... 1). BOYS SHOULD NOT SPEAK TO GIRLS 2). VICE VERSA 3). BOYS AND GIRLS SHOULDNT SIT TOGETHER..... These three were kinda same to all of us. Then we came to a conclusion that he was our class co-ordinator. He went to the board and wrote. RA 6151 Mathematics.(pardon me if i was wrong with those no.s). he started with matrixes. Asked what was the difference b/w matrices and its brother determinant.... Then we were interrupted in b/w and were take to a open air auditorium... Its what they called it. We were dispersed class by class. Seniors and staffs stood guards. Gates opened at our entry.... We felt like WAR PRISONERS. We were seated at the first row..... A group began to sing about Sai baba.... My greatest problems started from there. With the heavy speakers banging and the mans voice was like hell... Ara kora Sairam Ara kora Sairam, he sang which we then figured out it was hara hara sairam. My headache started from there. If i get a headache i can do nothing. Its as if i have lost my hands and legs. But i was there seated at the first row. Then the guests came 2 of them were famous. Jayaprakash Gandhi and IAS Irai Anbu... There were six of them where each of them spoke up to 25 min.... I didnt actually have my breakfast at the morn so i was feeling hungry and thirsty. These people spoke and then the award function.... Gah.... Then my mother who was seated at the back came to call me with a frooti, jam bun and a samosa. I then went to the last and ate it. Then we were asked to have our lunch there..... That was the only thing i felt good that day was the lunch pat. It was gud..... Then hearing a announcement that we have college the next day we, returned. Goyyale intha maari oru nightmare enakku irunthathe illa. Pona annike start sooperu... Thalavali oda arambichurukku. College fulla freshers evan moonjilayum santhosaththa paakala... Sathiyama solluren. Ithukku mela oru punishmenta kudukka mudiyathu... Vazhga Sairam military School. Vazhga SSk^20 Enna vazhka da!!!!
