Me when I grocery shop... Every damn time.. Panic Attack mode sets in as I park. Head down avoid ANY eye contact or interaction. If I dont see them surely they cant see me. Speed through the aisles, pulling my cart behind me. As I scan where my next move is... SHITTT I ACCIDENTALLY MADE EYE CONTACT! !! ABORT ABORT... yeah, I was looking at that tub of mayo behind your head intensely... Shew... I almost made it to self-checkout, before collapsing from this intense experience. I see it.. almost there... Oh god! Is that someone waving at me.. please be waving to some non-existent person behind me... Shit.. theyre walking towards me.. Its too late to run... I must say something.... I stupidly mumble Hi, what are you doing? As we both are in the grocery store and it is quite obvious. After I deal with that I go checkout as fast as lightening... oh shit this is NOT scanning... panic, panic, panic as I frantically try to fet the damned thing to scan.. unbeknownst that I am drawing attention to myself, and then oh god no! An attendant tries to interact and help me... fml... I finally get done, pay and load my groceries in the cart. Pull out my phone (so I look preoccupied) as I walk down the hallway to the door, get to my car and sigh with relief of my epic survival skills..
