Meagan Work goes back into court on October 29, 2014. We have discovered by working with other cases that the BEST way to get our opinions, points of view and concerns relayed to the proper channels is by writing letters. We have 9 days to make it count. I called Travis County Courthouse and left FOUR messages trying to get an email that we could all use and then I thought, what the hell, the Sheriffs Department has a Facebook page, it is the ONLY ONE that seems to have frequent activity. The courthouse does have a page but dont see any activity much. I assure you that if enough of us write letters theyll be printed and carried to the courts. At the very least our voices will be heard, although I have to tell you the letters are going in occasionally. Let us be Coltons Voice, let us tell them what we want to see happen with Meagan Work. And please dont pull the MURDER card, unless major changes occur shell never get murder. The ONLY way that will happen is if Michael changes his story and that may not work UNLESS the ME can determine cause of death. She is going to stick with her spanking story and that certainly covers blunt force trauma. The only people that could have changed that was this pathetic family. We cannot backtrack now. Lets face it folks Meagan Work was a tax burden on the county, tax payers more than likely supported sweet Colton, it would seem trifling to most authorities to continue throwing good money after bad. What we need to voice is reasonable sentencing on what she is charged with and what we know she can be charged with. I am posting a three more charges that can be brought. In all the BEST we can hope for I BELIEVE is approximately 20 years incarceration, and if theres ever been a case that requires it, it is Coltons.
