Mean people, do suck. My daughter, Brady Morris and I went to Publix on Largo today. She drove and parked in the space next to the handicapped spot. A car was caddy-corner (without a handicap tag, and I thought it odd. Anyway, didnt think about it again. Then, crossed, and Brady said look, I thought some trash, but in the middle of the hot pavement, was a 4 week old kitten. One guy on the sidewalk just watched it as two cars passed over it. I was stunned, then picked it up to the sidewalk. We stood there looking at it, me debating I gotta grocery shop, Brady, lets take it home. It would have been killed. We did. The more I think about it, and how the car was parked 10 feet away, I believe it was purposely dropped in the middle of the road, and if the woman saw it was going to be run over, could have opened her door and flailed her arms around it. Consider, Friday after work, Labor Day weekend, my instinct told me something was amiss with the car, and am convinced it was a planned dump, with some sucker would come and take it. That said, we took it home. It is very healthy, not a flea, has eaten well, and is now adopted by my Jack Russell, Lilly:
