Meaningfulworld Humanitarian Team continued their peace-building and engendering inner peace mission into Bujumbura in Burundi. This wonderful country has seen many traumas of civil war causing over a million of death and destruction. Bujumbura has a beautiful, pristine beach along lake Tanganyika, which is so big and beautiful that connects four countries and has delicious fish, we tasted Mukeke and Sangala. We are grateful to our host and collaborator Father Germain Bashirahishize, who took a week off and took us to the beach, shopping, university, church, community and schools. Our training at the Bujumbura University was an extreme success, we were expecting 50 students and faculty and were welcomed by 127. Our program was very well received, our books were the first to decorate their new Psychology Department Library shelves, collaborative research plans were put in place, and Meaningfulworld Ecology Club formed with a new Peace & Forgiveness Garden project put in place. We were so impressed at this beautiful country with its warm, happy, welcoming, generous, and caring people; safe, with no traffic, its the best kept secret, we discovered thus far.
