Meaningless meaningless everything is meaningless! I used to think the bible author of this was having a depressed time of life, thinking there is no point in anything. Now I realise this was one big revelation. We rush around looking for meaning and identity in the things around us, defining ourselves by them whether people or jobs or possessions or communities and we live with a constant tension that chaios will once again reappear. Someone or thing we love will dissapear, our bodies will wear out and die, and sickness will come and go [or stay]. We live in either fear of change or an unhealthly acceptance of it rather than seeing it as the arrow it is pointing to a deeper truth. And all because we live as if the external is the glory, rather than knowing that the true manifestation of the glory comes from within us when we have the right focus. We are so busy trying to maintain, improve and fix the external that the true glory which IS the Kingdom of God within each of us is hidden, obscured and given little consideration and thus does not overflow into this world of form, if it did the world would look very different. Choosing to let go of the seen and taught in preference to allowing God to show us the reality of who we are in our inner Being is scary and looks insane, but it is the most life correcting course we can take. Our greatest enemy will be our mindsets and thinking but if we are willing to journey with Holy Spirit we will get through this. Honesty looks at what is visable and sees it for what it is, recognises inherited beliefs as flawed from their fruit - but fear, especially the fears like hell keep us in mental bondage and we live and die as if the world is flat never having ventured across the sea to see if this is truely the case. Humanity is on a journey of rediscovery, one of the biggest shifts is coming through Christianity, a religion set up on the rock of the greatest teacher ever- Jesus. But this religion obscures his message and does not reflect his teaching having become meaningless, a chasing of the wind, and it is now crumbling. It will mostly of course emerge as something new and enevitably become another form of container as there is nothing new under the sun and history repeats itself, but during this reformation I suspect that thousands will escape and venture off with God, causing a domino effect to others around them. The ultimate goal being the collapse of all religions and gods of the seen and the glorious manifestation of the Kingdom of God finally - that goose let loose.
