Meanwhile....on the farm... A day and a half went by where we thought we had lost one of our prettiest chicken hens to a predator....when....Lizzie went out this afternoon to feed and water the animals....she found out male goats water bowl upside down. She goes to flip it over only to find the hen we thought we lost curled up under it. It startled Lizzie and she was in shock. Both her and the hen. The hen was cold and went and its body was cramped and she head a hard time recovering. Lizzie cuddles with it to warm it up and dry her feathers. We put her next to food and she was very hungry. About 20 minutes later the hen was much better. Still a bit wet, but we are sure shell make a full recovery. Well be back to check on her a bit later. Very relieved our hen is alive! Worried me for sure we lost her because around 7:20am I saw a young red fox patrolling our farm.
