Meatloaf This is a recipe I was given about 10 years ago for the oven, tried it in the slow cooker today and it worked BRILLIANTLY! 500grams Minced Beef 1 Egg 1 Small Onion (Diced) Salt & Pepper 500grams Sausage Meat 1 teaspoon curry powder 1/2 cup breadcrumbs squirt of tomato sauce Mix altogether and shape into a loaf and put in slow cooker. In a saucepan melt 50g butter, 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder, 1 cup tomato sauce, 1/4 cup worcester sauce, 2 dessertspoons vinegar Cook until butter melts Pour over meatloaf I cooked on high for 5.5 hours Nice cold in sandwiches too.
