Mechanical and Maintenance Engineer The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of the mill mechanical equipment, support systems, buildings, and services, ensuring maximum availability of equipment in support of quality and production. Duties and responsibilities Monitors equipment condition, anticipates potential failures, and formulates solutions. For critical and relevant equipment, define reliability envelopes and confirm that the design and specification of that equipment is such that it will be able to consistently operate within that envelope. Consider start-up, plateau, middle and end-of-life production levels. Ensure repair and spares strategy is defined for equipment, identifying the stocking criteria and the response to failure. Repair strategy shall include guidance on the strategic decision for repair versus replacement. Ensure Criticality assessments are reviewed based on design changes, system modifications, major changes in operating regimes and lessons learned from particular equipment failures. Provide input to the schedule to ensure spare parts are ordered and delivered to confirm that they are in place within managed stock prior to the associated equipment being placed into service. Instrumentation Technician The Instrumentation / Electrical Maintenance Technician is critical in maintaining the reliability of the product terminals operating capabilities. Duties and responsibilities Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs process instrumentation and electrical equipment Executes preventative and predictive maintenance programs for Instrumentation and Electrical systems Participates in failure analysis and troubleshooting Maintains equipment histories as required Works effectively in a flexible team environment, and communicates clearly with peers and management Assists other Maintenance and/or Process Operations as required Participates in facility safety and quality management programs.
