Delivers Nursing care and activities that create a compassionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients/families and staff with the aim of promoting comfort, healing, and preventing unnecessary suffering. Includes but not limited to vigilance, engagement, and responsiveness of caregivers. These services further the mission of Valley Presbyterian Hospital, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve. Qualifications: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing Current BLS certification LA City Fire Card within 30-days of hire EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: Acceptance into the VPH New Graduate Program or a minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as a registered nurse, preferably in the acute care setting.
