Media Planner - New Media Talent One of my best clients is looking for a senior media planner that will work in tandem with the media director, account management, and digital strategy and project management teams. The primary job objective is to help execute and manage the strategies for our various clients in multiple traditional advertising channels; television, radio, print, and outdoor, as well as gain experience in digital media planning. •Participating in bringing to life the segmentation strategies in traditional media under the guise of the media director and associate media director •Foster strong relationships with our key multi-cultural media vendors to facilitate the development of integrated programs based upon our client’s overall media strategies •Work in partnership with project management and our partner agencies to ensure the timely creation of and delivery of all campaign materials •Develop POVs on new and innovative opportunities presented to us by the media community or referred to us by our clients •Supervise the management of vendor relationships and financial stewardship of all activities with these media partners •Maintain accurate budget reports for all clients •Gain insight and exposure to the digital media planning and implementation process under the guidance of the associate media director •Gain experience presenting to the integrated team internally as well as to clients Requirements •Three years working with traditional media and/or analysis •Minimum four-year college degree •Interest in and experience with MC media properties preferred •Passionate about your work and willing to give 110% •Eager to expand knowledge base to include digital media •Solution-oriented thinking •Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PPT, Excel, and Word •Strong communication and writing skills •Excellent attention to detail Details Province: Gauteng Education level: Degree City: Johannesburg Type: Permanent Job level: Senior Contact New Media Talent [email protected]
