Media Release: TRAFFIC ADVISORY - BEETHAM HIGHWAY Water and Sewerage Authority advises road users and the general public of traffic restrictions along the Eastbound Lane of the Beetham Highway in the vicinity of Abattoir Road. This has become necessary in order to facilitate the relocation of WASA’s 36” main along the St. Ann’s river, Sea Lots to allow for the construction of an additional east-bound lane by the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure. As a result, the following traffic restrictions will be in place: From Monday 28th April 2014 – Friday 2nd May 2014, only single lane traffic will be permitted along the East-Bound Lane of the Beetham Highway in the vicinity of Abattoir Road between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the jobsite and obey the instructions of Police officers on duty.
