Media Release. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Dangerous Driving/Possession of Marihuana (Bradford, ON) On Wednesday, January 21, 2015, around 10:30 p.m., a South Simcoe Police constable saw a car driving erratically in a Bradford parking lot, spinning and sliding and almost mounting a curb. The officer followed as the vehicle left the lot, and stopped it as it swerved down Agar Avenue. When he approached the car and spoke to the driver, he could smell marihuana. A search of the car found small bagged amounts of marihuana in two separate locations. The driver, a 17 year old youth from Bradford, was charged with Dangerous Driving and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The passenger, also 17 and from Bradford, who was on conditions from a previous arrest, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and two counts Breach of Undertaking. Both boys were released to their parents and given a Youth Court date in March.
