PJ Patterson/Nationwide defamation case put off The Supreme Court on Monday put off the hearing of a defamation lawsuit brought by former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson against Cliff Hughes, head of Nationwide News Network. The matter is now scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. In May 2010, representatives of the law firm Knight,Junor and Samuels served the claim on Hughes. The claim is related to a report aired by Nationwide News in 2009, about international travel, allegedly undertaken by the former Prime Minister.In court documents,Patterson asserted that he was defamed.
