Media outlets meeting in the ministry of telecommunication on 17/11/2013 Different media outlets including Jossor affiliate held a meeting in the ministry of telecommunication on Sunday the 17th Nov.2013 at 10am in response to an invitation from the ministry in order to select a representative to the local media outlets in the National Committee of digital Migration, the meeting included a representative from the Palestinian Public Broadcasting Corporation who is a member of the national committee of the digital migration according to the decision taken by the Cabinet in its weekly meeting number 16/05 which held on 5/11/2013 in Hebron. The ministry of telecommunication acknowledged the presences with the Cabinet decision and provided them with a copy of it, and asked the media outlets representatives to choose one of them to represent them in the National Digital Migration committee according to the Cabinet decision and to provide the ministry with the name of this representative within a week, the media outlets argued that there representative might be more than one person and showed that their intention to appoint their representative as a committee to be consisted of 3 or 5 persons although that their representative is having one vote if needed in the National Digital Migration Committee. The telecommunication ministry asked them to submit their request in writing addressed to the minister by Thursday 21st Nov.2013. The media outlets promised to do so by the date decided.
