Medical Admission Circular for admission in 1st year MBBS and 1st year Dental Courses in all government and private medical, dental colleges/institutes under the academic session 2013-14 has been published. Students (Bangladeshi Citizen) who have passed SSC/Equivalent exams in 2010/2011 and passed HSC/Equivalent exams in 2012/2013 (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology) can apply for medical/dental admission. The total GPA of SSC, HSC must be at least GP 8.00 and grade point less than GPA 3.50 in any single exam (SSC/HSC) will not be accepted for admission. For all tribal and non-tribal students, the total GPA of SSC, HSC must be at least GP 7.00 and grade point less than GPA 3.00 in any single exam will not be accepted for admission. For every candidate, in Biology, grade point cannot be less then GPA 3.50. Online application process will begin from 04-09-2013 which will continue till 18-09-2013. The web address of online medical application is dghs.teletalk.bd. Admit card can be collected from 25-09-2013 to 03-10-2013. Medical admission test will be held on 04-10-2013 from 10 am to 11 am. Foreign students can apply online after getting Equivalence Certificate of grade point according to Bangladeshi GPA system. The Equivalence certificate can be collected by submitting an application to Director, Medical Education & Health Man Power Development, Directorate General of Health Services, Mohakhali, Dhaka with Bank Draft/Pay-order of Tk. 2000/-.
