Medical Updates (Eddie & Paully): Eddies short term foster gave us a call Friday night and said Eddie had labored breathing and green snot. Usually URIs dont send us into such a tizzy, especially since he was already on the proper oral medication for a cold, but with our luck lately and knowing Eddie had been transported with poor Bobbie, Jamie rushed him down to our San Diego vets. Eddie received fluid and IV antibiotics and was sent back to headquarters to recover. Today Eddie is doing wonderfully! He has eaten 3 cans of food, takes all of his meds like a good boy, is eager to please and interactive, and is anxious to get out of the isolation room (headquarters bathroom) to hang with the pack! Thats him giving us the evil eye for being too cautious! Since weve learned Paully isnt contagious, he is out and about meeting new friends! He & Bo have taken a liking to each other, and while we were watching a Sunday morning movie eating breakfast at headquarters, Paully snuck some egg off my plate! Woot! Anything for Paully! He wants to eat! We owe a shout out to Jamie Aitken, Lynsey Rave, & Sara Kennedy for taking care of FFFs sick dogs, doing vet runs, and running headquarters yesterday while we were at the big event. Thank you ladies!
