Medical update: I went to the doctor today. I love Boise. I waited less than 5 minutes and they apologized to me for the delay. They said that pharmacist in eastern Thailand did the right thing by giving me Cipro, and because it didnt work, it actually helped with their differential diagnosis. They did like 73 tests on me today, but the docs best guess is a parasite or cholera. Its the first time I have been ever been prescribed bread. haha ... and lots of Gatorade. The passing out and accompanying head injuries are simply from severe dehydration, as well as the sleeping 18 hours a day. A couple of the staff said they were jealous that I got to sleep 18 hours a day...as long as they didnt have to be so sick to do it. The verdict seems to be that I will live! If you ever feel the need to donate to a charity, ones that teach 3rd world countries about sanitation and provide a means to have clean drinking water, I dont think you could do more to save lives. As an example, where I got sick, Cambodia has 70,000 deaths a year from waterborne illness. In 2014, that is heartbreaking. I was nearly one of them!
