Medical update. Weird day. Body turning red...rash..from chest ..arm...back...could be from Vancomycin..going to switch antibiotic. Power port will stay in for now unless bacterial function stays positive and then it will come out...Looks better now. MRI of right leg after 6 PM with contrast to check for blockage as now the foot has gotten cold up to calf muscle. Blood flow seems well. Heart doc was hear as Dr. Fussa the infectious disease wants a TEE done to check for any infection on the heart values which could of lead to the foot. We dont know how long I have had this bacterial infection. TEE will be done b tween 9am and 10am What Is Transesophageal Echocardiography? Transesophageal (tranz-ih-sof-uh-JEE-ul) echocardiography (EK-o-kar-de-OG-rah-fee), or TEE, is a test that uses sound waves to create high-quality moving pictures of the heart and its blood vessels. TEE is a type of echocardiography (echo). Echo shows the size and shape of the heart and how well the heart chambers and valves are working. Echo can pinpoint areas of heart muscle that arent contracting well because of poor blood flow or injury from a previous heart attack. Echo also can detect possible blood clots inside the heart, fluid buildup in the pericardium (the sac around the heart), and problems with the aorta. The aorta is the main artery that carries oxygen-rich blood from your heart to your body. Foot pain feels better today except for the coldness that is there now. One thing after another. Piece by piece to solve this mystery. Prayers and well wishes are so appreciated. I appreciate the phone calls and I appreciate those who have stopped by to lift my spirits.
