Meditate with Power! God’s Promises! Acts 27:44 “The rest were to get there on planks or on other pieces of the ship. In this way everyone reached land safely.” Meditate on God’s Word! God sent an angel and made a promise that all 276 men aboard the ship, that was torn in pieces, would survive with no loss of life. Even after they cut off the life boats because of the excessive weight of the ship, threw the food overboard, hit a sandbar, they were still all saved, some hanging on to pieces of the ship. God’s promises are sure; “Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 27 “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:26-27 God’s promises are forever and they never change; To Abraham; “The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time 16 and said, “I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, 18 and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” Genesis 22:15-18 To Joshua; “I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. 4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. 5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” Joshua 1:3-6 To David; “So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.” 13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came powerfully upon David.” I Samuel 16:12-13 And to you; “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30 As a child of God hold onto these promises today for you in your life and hold onto the smallest piece of wood from the ship because God will use it to bring you to shore safely.
