Meditation for today - Mar 5 Consider your ways Haggai 1:2-5 2 “Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the Lord ’s house should be built.” ’ ” 3 Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “ 4 Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! Why is it never the right time to act on Gods instructions while its always time to act on our own desires? Why is it perfectly acceptable for us to be late to Gods house but its completely inconceivable to be late to our place of work? Why is it not your business if the service is dull but intolerable if business is dull? God tells us to .....consider our ways! We need to realise that, our spiritual duties will determine our physical prosperity. Its time we truly prioritise. Prioritising the things of God over the things of the world. When we take care of the things of a God, God will settle for us the things of the world. However, when one fails in his spiritual things, his failure in the physical state is just a matter of time. Hmmm...grace oh grace
