Meditations on Friendship - 2 Mother, from being every moment - TopicsExpress

Meditations on Friendship - 2 Mother, from being every moment with me to being within me, have we transcended to a different plane? Does the bond we share sustain us? What would you be to me beyond the bond we share? What would I mean to you beyond the bond we share? I think, meditate, contemplate, but can never arrive at a conclusion. Maybe I don’t want to conclude. What are we both at this moment, beyond our own selves? How can someone birth another so like and unlike her own self, while carrying this life within her? By carrying you within myself, am I now kind of your mother? Bestowed by natural grace, are you letting me indulge in the nurturing? Is that what love is? Mother, what was it like to hold my child in your arms for the very first time? The one who is so unlike me, so like you in many ways. Genes are fascinating. I see your frown when I seek refuge in Science. You always left the inexplicable to explain itself at the right moment. A Grace I need to cultivate. Beyond the ties of blood and destiny, beyond the Karmic cycles, beyond everything we both share, where we go, wherever we remain, if we were to find ourselves travelling on the same path, Mother, would we have been friends? Beyond being altruistic, beyond being counterfactual, beyond any kind of cognition, or even any kind of biases, you are a friend, but I always saw a friend through a different colored lens. Mother, will you be my friend? youtube/watch?v=VVnKUkEx5zw
