Meelo sure is a handsome, playful puppy isnt he? We rescued him from the street and you would never know he desperately needs a surgery to ensure he can live a pain-free, normal life. Meelo needs what is called a Femoral Head Ostectomy--he has a luxated hip--we arent sure if he was injured or born with a defect--but the head of the femur needs to be removed so the joint could heal as a muscle. We have been bombarded this Holiday Season with dogs needing many expensive procedures--if you can donate anything, now is the time as your donation is DOUBLED until January 15.
