Meet ARLNHs Pets of the Week: Sammy (guinea pig) and Bubba (cat)! My name is Sammy. I am such a sweetheart, but a little bit nervous around those giant things they call humans. I enjoy running through tunnels, and snuggling in my hide-away hut. I would love a home that has lots of patience, and maybe even some kids that want to build me an obstacle course. Hi, my name is Bubba. I know it is not the most feminine or delicate name, but I’m much sweeter than my name gives me credit. (You can definitely change it when you bring me home). I’m just 8 years old, spayed and up to date on all of my vaccines. Im not sure what I am doing here at the shelter. My human mom had a baby and said something about allergies, but anyway, here I am. I can be shy but if you move slowly, I love petting! Head scratches and chin rubs make me melt. I am an easy going, good natured, affectionate, cuddly girl. I can also be very playful when Im in the mood for that. I am very independent, what you would call a low maintenance kind of cat. I need a quiet home, it is too busy here for my liking. Ideally, I would have a home of my own, but because I have lived with another cat, I’d be willing to give it a try again, as long as the other cat is mellow and gives me space to adjust. I should not live with dogs or young children, they stress me out, and I can be cranky when stressed, and I would often hide. But when it is quiet, I am an absolute delight! Come meet them!
