Meet Agnes in West Palm Beach, FL! She is a 7-8 year old sweet, dog friendly and extremely low maintenance princess. She came down with a cold while at the shelter and was granted a 2 week foster period to get better. We would love to find her a forever home before her foster period is up so she never has to go back to the shelter! A note from her current foster: I have been fostering Agnes for one week as she gets over kennel cough. I was told that she is seven although she seems a bit older (she was likely listed as younger to increase her adoption chance). She is very springy on her walks but she is unable to jump on the couch or into the car. The vet who assessed her noted dental tartar, mild abdominal distention, lenticular sclerosis, and umbilical hernia. She has hair loss around her neck from a previous collar that was left on too tight. She is not spayed(but will be before going to a home) and appears to have produced numerous litters. She is listed as 46 pounds but is a little overweight and could stand to lose a few pounds. I have not yet tested her with my dogs since she still has kennel cough but the shelter had her listed as dog friendly. She has seen my dogs through the glass and she hasnt reacted to them at all. My personal thoughts - She incredible! Shes unbelievably well-behaved. She is currently staying in my office. She is house-broken and doesnt need to go out often. I have her crate open at all times but shes not locked in it. She loves to sleep in it. She doesnt make a peep. She comes for snuggles every time I walk in the room. She is a bit timid. I believe she had a rough history. Shes slightly head shy and reacts to things raised over her head. Shes never shown any aggression at all. She loves leash walks or free roaming in my back yard. Shes never chewed on anything. She doesnt really fetch or chew on toys, she just prefers to snuggle and take naps. She would be perfect for a quiet home. Shes perfect in the car and for a bath. She is not food aggressive and eats very slowly. Shes just a calm, quiet girl that prefers to lay around and nap. Shes so sweet and deserving of love! She loves snuggles and deserves so much better than what shes been through in life.
