Meet Alex and Olivia - my new playmates and two of the many reasons I love it here at Clean Water for Haiti. Olivia is so very helpful when it comes to my Creole and she also loves to help in the kitchen (as long as there is no work involved) AND she loves to swim in the ocean almost as much as I do. I love to hear her sing and Duane Piercey and Ray Nizer - she creates all of them. Now, Alex, oh my goodness he makes me smile every day and is so smart for just turned three years old and can carry on a conversation like an old man - so we get along really well and spend lots less time talking to myself. He is simply fun to be around. I made a rule my first day here that they would have to knock on the door and ask permission to come in my house. The way he says it is the cutest thing ever. He knocks rather loudly but it is his, Im here! Can I come in? loud, determined, and strong voice that the whole neighborhood can hear that just melts my heart. Who could say no to that? Certainly not me.
