Meet Coach Cory Golden Coach Cory Golden is from Wellman, TX. where he played football, basketball and threw shot and discuss. He graduated from Wellman High School in 1993. He attended Texas Tech University. After his first year, he joined the United States Marine Corp. He was active reserve Infantry for 5 years. He continued studying at Tech during this time and graduated with a degree in Agriculture Education and a minor in Math in May 2001. Cory owned and managed several ag businesses before entering education in 2007. He married Charissa in August 2002. They have 3 beautiful children , Taryn 8, Rhealee 5 and Graceson 1. Cory and Charissa have taught in Brownfield for 3 years, Petersburg for 2 years and Tulia for 2 years. Cory will be teaching Freshman History and coaching JV football, Freshman basketball, and track. Charissa will be teaching 3rd grade.
