Meet Corby, my 16 week old border collie on his 1st full day with me.......no house training needed even though he has spent his life so far just stuck in a kennel with 4 other dogs, let out in a yard for just an hour a day. He just tells you to open the door and let him out. Hes smart, nah cancel that he is amazing, and loves to learn. He walks by my side, stuck to my leg, no lead needed. He is tired in this clip after travelling 90 miles back from County Durham with us, no whining, no fuss, no mess. Think he was just so happy to be out of his nightmare. I hope to give him the best ever time...........he seems to just fit in already. Andi says he is going to make me feel better, think she is right, I love him already. He just makes me feel happy..........he tries so hard to be a good boy. He learnt to sit for me in two minutes flat. He is kinda unsure about everything outside after having such a isolated start to his life, but I think he knows he is special...........he has dreamy eye syndrome, a border collie trait, means he is forever thinking, forever watching. When you say look at me he stares deep. He is the best fly catcher I have ever seen, I now feel kinda sorry for any silly fly that dare to enter our home.....lol, your now so dead flies. His reaction time is split second. He seems to be able to interpret what you want him to do..............I think he is kinda bi-polar like me.....Corby and me fit well together.......smile. He knows the names of all his toys after just 48 hours, and will bring you the one you ask for out of his crate.........his fav is his monkey..............Corby talks to it.............wish I could work out what he is saying to it...............more updates to follow........
