Meet DAISY!! Daisy is an 11-month-old Maltese mix. She is approximately 25 lbs. and almost has the build of a whippet. She has longer legs and a long body, but is very light. Daisy belonged to an older lady who could not take care of her because she wanted a couch potato and Daisy is a more active dog. She is sweet and loving, but still has puppy in her. The lady gave Daisy to someone else who kept her two months and could not care for her anymore. So, poor Daisy has been abandoned twice. She does love to ride in the car. She just sits up in the seat and checks out everything around her. She was a little protective of the lady that she has been living with when I came up to the car, but as soon as I had her get out of the vehicle and I took the leash, she was more than happy to go and jump in my car. She is good with the other dogs at my house. She has not pottied in her crate and I have not had her long enough to say for sure she is potty training. But I would assume she is. Daisy is current on shots and just had a negative heartworm test. She is scheduled to be spayed in the near future. The lady did say she does not do well with toddlers so we would prefer to adopt her to a home without small children to be safe. But so far, she seems like a pretty low-maintenance companion for someone that has some knowledge of dogs. petfinder/petdetail/26830566
