Meet Dottie Bly, a sweet “southern” lady. When she was found, her hair was so matted in places it needed to be cut off. She was all skin and bones, pregnant, and had a problem with worms (very common in stray cats who eat rodents to survive). She had two kittens who are now grown and on their own. Worms have been treated and won’t be coming back! She has put on some weight and is feeling a lot better about what life has to offer. Her foster mom has enjoyed having her but it is time for her to move on to a permanent situation. She is looking for her forever home. The first impression she makes is this is an easy cat, no problem at all to have around. She is quiet, sweet and calm. She has a playful side, but that it isn’t what she is all about. She is all about charming companionship. She got along easily with foster mother’s two cats, was friendly and respectful. No known exposure to dogs. Like many cats, she enjoys a vertical life, and also responded remarkably well to training commands such as “no”, “stop” and “down”. Also enjoys drinking water from the faucet- expect company when you brush your teeth! If you are looking for a happy go lucky friend for life, please fill out an application. Dottie Bly is so sweet you will not regret it!
