Meet Edith! Edith is a beautiful terrier mixed female; she is roughly six years old. Edith was found as a stray and brought to a high kill animal control. The Lovely Heartland Ladies are suckers for a scruffy dog, so the moment they saw her face they tagged her for rescue! Edith is an amazing dog, it is very obvious that she was somebody’s sweet little house dog. Why they never tried to find her we will never know, because they lost out on one cool gal. Edith is a pro at crate and potty training, and she gets along great with other dogs. Though she is more on the laid back side and would prefer a home with no overly hyper or dominant dogs. She loves all people and is a totally snuggle bug. Really her only issue is that she wants to chase cats, no a cat free home is a must. If you are looking for a mellow dog that is out of the puppy stage and simply content to hang out with her people, then Edith is your girl! Edith has been spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and more. Edith really is one of those all around awesome dogs, any family would be truly lucky to call her their own. She is ready to find a home of her own and her second chance at love! Her adoption fee is $175 and she is available through Heartland Humane Society.
