Meet Eric Satterly Director of Information Technology DAT. 102 Intro Hardware, Software, Netwrk Tu Th 3:05 pm to 4:20 pm Eric joined Bellarmine University in June of 2012 after serving the previous 13 years of his career as the Chief Technology Officer for PBI Bank. Eric most notably led a team that developed one of the first successful Internet banking systems. Additionally, he led the virtualization initiative for a regional banking organization before virtualization was mainstream. He began his career developing hardware and software systems as Senior Design Engineer for Electronic Systems USA where he developed hardware control systems and wrote embedded software for the building automation. He was lured into the exciting dot banking world in 1999 and shifted his career to information technology as a software development manager. As his career evolved he became more responsible for things like regulatory compliance, especially in the area of risk assessment, disaster recovery and business resumption. Eric has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Engineering Science, both from the University of Louisville; he is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
