Meet Foggy the wonder-mule! Wonder, as I wonder what the heck I was thinking when I bought this mule? He has the color people go gaga over and the mind to remind you to never buy a horse or mule based on color alone. I bought this mule sight unseen and he was sold to me as a kid-safe 8 year old mule with a good handle on him. He got here and his coggins said he was 6 and his teeth look like hes about 4. He is anything but kid-safe! We put 4 weeks of riding on him and hes still skittish, spooky and deathly afraid of humans. He has not bucked, reared, kicked or bit...yet. He picks up all 4 feet. He will pull back when tied if he gets startled. He acts like hes been beaten on his whole life and needs a firm, patient, and GENTLE hand. He is not for a beginner, or a kid or grandma, or grandpa. He is for someone who knows mules, is so stubborn that they wont give up on him and has all the time in the world to work with him. He has a current coggins and nice tough bare feet!
