Meet Gambit. He admits that he is a cat lover as well as a dog lover. He loves all people, young and old. He is a sweet young kid that Eleventh Hour is taking into our rescue. We received a plea from a rescue friend about him and he will be arriving in about a week. Here is the email we received regarding him.... Attached are pix of Gambit, a 7/8 month old NEUTERED UTD. Pittie x. He was saved from certain death by one of the volunteers with Friends of Gallia Countys Animals and has been fostered by her for over 2 months. Gambit is a gem of a dog: super dog friendly, good with cats and extraordinarily intelligent:he learned sit in less than a day. His foster mom Lori adores him. Heres our problem: Lori is relocating to Portland Maine from Gallia County Ohio and after what shes experienced re dogs in Gallia, who can blame her? She has saved hundreds: starved dogs, bait dogs, puppies dying of parvo who no one thought would make it, shot dogs. Her relocation is a huge loss for the dogs in Gallia but I understand it! Gambit is her favorite foster ever but we are now in the predicament of having to find him rescue. Lori has 6 dogs of her own, cannot adopt Gambit and cannot even take her own dogs w her when she first moves Aug 1st( she is starting a new job and her husband will follow w the dogs later).
