Meet Joe Towne a.k.a. Todd Rose as The Wedding Planner in Speak Now TWITTER: @TheFengShuiGuy WEBSITE: joetowne Joe Towne attended the University of Southern California where he earned a B.A. in Theatre. From there he spent several years acting and directing theatre in New York, at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland and also in Paris, France before settling in Los Angeles. He most recently guest starred on the shows: Fringe, All My Children, Law and Order: SVU, and can be seen in Freedom Writers opposite Hillary Swank (PARAMOUNT), The Omen (FOX) and Garfield: The Movie (FOX.) Joe has acted in dozens of commercials. He is most proud of the work he is creating with his friends and colleagues, like the hit web series Friends In Therapy (an unscripted comedy about two best friends who decide to go to Therapy for their Friendship) which was just nominated for an LA Weekly award and Speak Now, which is having its world premiere here in Austin. Joe is also a coach and instructor at Warner Loughlin Studios in Hollywood, CA. We were able to catch up with Joe to discuss Speak Now, as well as his upcoming slate of projects, here is what he had to say: I was drawn to Speak Now because I loved the challenge of creating an entire feature film in three days, with immensely gifted actors who I cant wait for the world to see. Also, my wife wrote the film and apparently wanted to experience me as a gay wedding planner. Im developing a dark political web series with longtime friend Michael Sloane (who writes for the new show MOB CITY on TNT) and my good buddy Jeffrey Doornbos (who I met at Warner Loughlin Studios.) Im also developing a half hour comedy with my amigo Daryl Johnson based on our hit webseries Friends In Therapy.
