Meet Jon & Katie. Today was their wedding day! This morning I get a message from the bride: Please call me ASAP! Immediately, I knew something must be wrong & called. Turns out, her photographer thought her wedding was next Sunday and she was five hours away. Within ten minutes, I was in new clothes and my rig & I were en route. On the way, I reached out to the local photographers I know and the incredible Cindy Parkhurst Schepers & Lauren Jolly Thomas were on the way with a pile of gear. Eric Spivey & Amanda Nichols loaned gear to use and we *rocked* this day. I left just before ceremony for some work I had to do myself, but they were in perfectly capable hands. Before I left, on the way to the first look, Katie thanked me for responding so fast, reassuring her, and making a terrible situation into something amazing. I couldnt imagine not doing what I did. And I l.o.v.e. being in a group of photographers who show up in the clutch! Congratulations, Jon & Katie! We would do it all over again.
