Meet LaKisha our Project Breathe Easy Coordinator La’Kisha has been with Family Connection and Project Breathe Easy for more than 10 years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Life Planner for DDSN and a Certified Trainer in South Carolina. She also is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). La’Kisha is a member of the SC Asthma Alliance, SC Counseling Association and American Counseling Association, and she serves on the Human Services Advocacy Board. She is an adjunct instructor at Midlands Technical College, and she is a partner at Southeast Counseling & Consulting, LLC, a mental health private practice in Columbia, SC. She has a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University. La’Kisha is the parent of two children, ages 18 and 20, who have asthma. She also is the proud grandmother of a precious little girl, Aniyah! She enjoys spending time with family, traveling and sporting events.
