Meet Mac he is up for adoption at our local shelter , I was asked by Sit with me rescue to go access him for them. As the last dog I accessed now lives here I sent my trusty sidekicks Natalie Martel and Dianne Desroches to go take a look at him . From their info and videos I saw. He is very friendly , was great with handling his body. Touching feet , ears and stuff. He did well on the food test , giving him a rawhide and a raw bone and taking it away. He didnt do well with the cat test. Was trying to grab the kitten hard to say if it was to play or not. But for safety no cats would be a good idea. He did well with Nats female pointer. Was very friendly too the dog telling him to give her space very well. He is very humpy. Wants to hump all people and animals and is very determined to do so. Took correction for this behaviour well and wants to be a good dog. I really cant afford to take on another rescue right now as I have the Dane Jethro to take care of. This is the only dog ever who has passed all our tests that we have then left behind at the shelter. Usually if they pass. They come with us. I have been thinking of this guy non stop. He needs a home. Sit with me has no fosters open at this time. But I would love to have him out of shelter ( he is getting a little stir crazy in there) and to get him Neutered and put some training on him. I am waiting to see if rescue will take him on. But would like to take him out soon . Would anyone like to chip in for his neuter , food , vaccines ? I will give him free training And we need a foster too. Hopefully temporary until He can go to rescue. But I would like to send him there fixed and healthy ( take some pressure off bills for them ) . If you can help or know Someone interested in adoption please contact me.
