Meet Mary, an inspirational writer. Psalm 19:1-2 The heavens - TopicsExpress

Meet Mary, an inspirational writer. Psalm 19:1-2 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. Growing up on a farm, I constantly observed nature at work. From watching the seeds that my father planted in the rich earth spring forth into hundreds of acres of corn and beans, to being present when little calves were born each year. But one thing that clearly stands out in my mind was laying in the back yard of our house on the farm and gazing at the millions of stars in the black night sky. It is almost mesmerizing! How any intelligent person can look at the universe and say there is no God, will always baffle me. Nature itself teaches us that there is a God. The heavens indeed declare His glory, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands. It was not started by some cosmic boom billions of years ago as some scientists would have us believe. God’s Word in the book of Genesis tells us quite clearly that God Himself created everything that exists. My husband is a design engineer, he can tell you that anything that one makes has to first and foremost be designed, it doesn’t just evolve or burst into existence. It is no different with all that we see around us in nature, God designed it and created it into being. The complexity of nature still eludes mankind, if we are evolved from apes, why are there still apes? If a tiny dust particle burst into all that we see around us, then why are they not still bursting? It is sheer stupidity to accept such nonsense. Yet our schools teach it as truth, and one can scarcely watch any nature documentary on tv without them slipping it in somewhere in the dialogue. As God’s children we need to be ever vigilant to speak the truth according to Scripture on creation, and refuse to remain silent when the lies of Darwin and the like are being taught and touted. Day after day the work of His hands pour forth speech, night after night they display knowledge. Romans 1:20 says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Nature does indeed speak and declare the knowledge of God, the problem is that mankind is not listening! Satan has blinded their eyes and closed their ears to God, how very, very, sad. But we who know Christ can tell them the truth of God’s Word the Bible, and share the good news of the gospel so that some may believe in Jesus and become children of the living God who created them and the entire universe! Thank You Father God for Your creation, thank You for sending Jesus to this world that You created to shed His blood for me, that by simple child-like faith in Him anyone can be saved and spend eternity in heaven with You. I love You so and give You praise this day! Amen.
