Meet Nutmeg!! She is a 9 month old Siamese girl who is as sweet as she is beautiful!! We saved her over the summer from the South Los Angeles Shelter with her sister Cinnamon. We immediately fell in love with both and were sure they would be adopted immediately!!! We were wrong. They bothed tested positive for FELV (a fatal virus for cats) and sweet Cinnamon died within 6 weeks. We were heartbroken. But Nutmeg has been thriving!! Her lifespan MAY be shorter...but we believe that a happy cat is a heathy cat and that she she will live a long and joyous life :) She would LOVE a home of her own (she can safely live with a dog or other FELV kitty)...but is happy as a clam living with one of our fosters who has dedicated her guest house to Nutmeg and 2 other kitties (who you will meet soon!!).
