Meet Oreo who was surrendered to Brightside Farm Sanctuary today because he is so tiny for his age and because he had stopped drinking. (His twin brother is thriving and is about 3 times his weight !) Oreo could not have joined our Brightside rescue family at a more perfect time because yesterday we had little Cookie surrendered to us. Cookie is a 2 week old lamb who was finding life very tough because he was born blind. Cookie needed a real buddy who could be his eyes. To be honest this whole event has made me feel quite overwhelmed as I watch Cookie and Oreo bond and Cookie suddenly take confident steps as his new friend becomes his guide.
