Meet Pierce Quinn, the healthy baby boy that Lisa delivered on 8/14/14! As a FTM I felt uncomfortable in the practice I was in when my regular OB was on her own maternity leave and I was assigned to her partners. My first appointment felt rushed and I had a terrible cold which they recommended medicine for but never specified that I had to be very specific about which one. Thank goodness for an informed local pharmacist! I immediately began searching for a new practice and became sold on midwifery after several recommendations and researching the statistics for healthy natural births. The first time I set foot in the midwives office at NOCH I felt comfortable. They were patient, informative, accessible, and caring. I canceled my other interview with a service in GR and have no regrets. Allison, Deb, and Lisa were all fantastic. I loved how they cared for Pierce and me, but their kindness also encompassed my husband and parents which I am grateful for. Having the ability to choose a midwifery was the only reason I went to NOCH and I hope other women will continue to have this amazing option!
