Meet Snickers. Snickers is a 9 month old chocolate Chihuahua who was being offered as a free puppy on a Facebook yard sale site. He had not been fully vetted or neutered. I took him in and have been fostering him for the last 2 weeks. Snickers will be completely vetted and neutered and will have a 6 month Proheart injection by the end of this week. He will be ready for a forever home. Snickers is very loving. He is a puppy, so he has a lot of energy. He does well with other dogs and cats as long as they want to play with him. He listens very well. He responds well to training. I would strongly suggest he go to a home with older children. When he is done playing, he likes nothing better than to cuddle and take long naps with his person. He is crate trained. He is 95% housebroken, as long as his person does what theyre supposed to do. I will send him along with his own crate and leash and collar or harness. A home check and vet references are required to adopt this sweet boy. Other than that, I only ask that he go to a forever home that will love him for the rest of his life and take excellent care of him. You must have appropriate expectations of puppy behavior. He is not really a chewer. But, I keep him occupied with toys and bully sticks. This little guy has the potential to be a terrific little family guy.
